"Sexual assault, a form of sexual violence, is any involuntary sexual act in which a person is threatened, coerced, or forced to engage against their will, or any non-consensual sexual touching of a person. This includes rape (such as forced vaginal, anal or oral penetration or drug facilitated sexual assault), groping, forced kissing, child sexual abuse, or the torture of the victim in a sexual manner." What were you saying again abt Sam Pepper NOT assaulting women?

You took that from Wikipedia. Like a 4th grader.

Sexual assault involves threats and coercion. What Sam Pepper did was AT MOST groping. In which case I am not going to quote Wikipedia but the Penal Code

Even if you only skim through the text you can clearly see that unless there was a threat or the victim was a minor you have no grounds for accusing him of sexual assault or groping or misdemeanor.

Further more since the women in the videos gave consent to him using the material it means they were fine with the prank. Those that did not come forward to complain can’t be taken into account as victims.

Plus Sam Pepper is protected by freedom of expression and since his bum pinching was satire there are no legal grounds to accuse him.

I could probably defend this dude in court only by Google-ing the US Penal Code and watching Suits.

Will you people ever learn not to argue with me?

From what you have explained here the women he handcuffed or roped, and told they wouldn’t be freed unless they gave him a kiss. That didn’t give consent to be put into the video obviously felt threatened can be described as victims and you can accuse Pepper of sexual assault.

The US law requires a “true threat” in order to prosecute someone and since he didn’t restrain the girls for a long enough period of time, he didn’t use a weapon or violence in order to coerce them and he is protected by parody/satire laws I’m sure no court would find him guilty.

In a video a group of guys pushes Pepper off of a girl he try to rope. Even after if after it being explained as a joke at that moment it was seen as threating enough to warrant the guys to protect the girl. The girls that didn’t give consent to being put in the videos you have no idea how long they were cuffed or roped. If I tried to handcuff myself to a little girl even for a second it would be seen as a “true threat” same with these grown girls. What exactly was Sam Pepper trying to parody or satire?

People’s reaction is not an argument for a true threat. People exaggerate, they get paranoid or, on the contrary, fail to react. We can’t quantify human reaction so your argument is not valid.

If they did not give consent and we have no proof of other girls being cuffed and tied for long periods of time then that is not an argument either.

Those girls were not underage so that is your 3rd invalid argument.

And I don’t know what he is trying to parody but then again what were other pranksters trying to satire when they pulled the ghost in the elevator prank which could have led to someone having a heart attack? If that wasn’t dangerous enough to get at least a fine then surely his pranks aren’t either

People over react to small or even big threats because it’s survival instinct to do so, they reacted to protect the girl because instinctively they believed the girl to be under threat. We know for a fact there was other girls because there’s no way for there not to be, that’s how these things work. You tape a bunch of your footage then you edit out the the stuff you don’t want or is unusable. Unless they deleted (even then it wouldn’t be hard to find) the footage they probably have the proof needed. Underage, middle aged, old age it’s threating no matter what to cuff your self to someone and deny to let them go unless they do something for you in return; that’s called holding someone for ransom even for a second. If you can’t prove that it is a parody or satire then he is not protected by parody/satire laws.

Survival instinct is not an argument. You can’t even use it as an argument in self defense cases.

We know for a fact there was other girls because there’s no way for there not to be  That’s a speculation and faulty logic.

You need a warrant in order to search for those files and for that you need a criminal accusation and you lack victims and complaints hence you have no argument here either.

That is not ransom. Ransom means kidnapping and demanding goods and services in return for a person’s freedom/life.

And you need to hold someone captive for far more than a second. Even the police can detain you for 24h without telling you why. It’s not an argument.

He claims it is a parody, he tells people what he did and why and asks for consent to use the footage. It’s parody.

Now did you have enough? Because I can smell despair and it’s coming from you.
